1)     To improve language teachers’ TPACK and enhance students’ language learning in VLEs.

2)     To establish a PLC on TELL in VLEs among researchers worldwide and in-service and pre-service language teachers in Hong Kong.

3)     To organize public seminars, workshops, and an international conference on TELL in VLEs in July/August 2024.

4)     To develop various AR-, VR-, digital game-, and VLE-enhanced language learning activities and materials.

5)     To implement TELL in VLEs to enhance students’ language learning and evaluate the effects of these virtual learning activities on students’ language learning performance, motivation, engagement, and technology acceptance.

6)     To collect and analyze student feedback on the virtual learning activities and materials to improve TELL implementation in VLEs. 

7)     To collect and analyze teacher feedback on their experience of learning by doing in the PLC and their self-evaluation of their TPACK.

8)     To create a KT website to promote TELL in VLEs, showcase useful resources and associated learning activities to demonstrate how to use various technologies, and disseminate effective pedagogies for quality language education in VLEs.

9)     To disseminate the project outcomes and findings through the Internet, mass media, international conference presentations, and journal publications.”
